The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented challenge for New Zealand schools. Shutdowns and necessary government measures mean that many of us are operating in a remote environment, or not operating at all.
Throughout this time, Springboard Trust remains committed to the learning of New Zealand school leaders.
We are here to provide assistance to anyone who needs it. This may be something as simple as maintaining connection, or running bespoke sessions on how to lead and facilitate in a remote environment.
Below you will find a collection of resources for schools and organisations, as well as key measures we have taken during this crisis. We will update this page with any changes to the way we work.
As of May 21st, 2020, Springboard Trust has:
Launched Resilience, a kete of resources on resilience and wellbeing
Launched Leading Through A Crisis, resources and webinars free to all school leaders
Launched Distance Learning Support for Principals, in line with our PLD work under the Ministry of Education.
Reviewed all workshops and programmes – please check with your Programme Manager to enquire about an upcoming workshop you are part of.
Begun developing new support programmes for delivery after the new school holiday dates.
Moved all team members to a remote environment.
Moved all meetings to Zoom and Teams.
If you have any questions, please reach out to one of our team. And remember: we’re right here.
