Programme Consultant - School Innovation Services (Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch)

Reporting to our School Innovation Services lead, the Programme Consultant is responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of leadership programmes that transform schools.

The role will contribute to systems, models and collateral used both internally and with schools and Communities of Learning (Kāhui Ako) through the entire project lifecycle. Being digitally savvy and able to work with people in multiple formats and systems will be important in this role. You will work closely with school leaders and the Springboard team to deliver these programmes, which may require some travel in line with the Ministry of Education’s Travel Policy for PLD Providers.

The Programme Consultant opportunity is full-time for a fixed term of one year.

Springboard Trust is a flexible organisation when it comes to working hours and days. These days and hours will be agreed with the School Innovation Services Lead, and we are estimating that you would be working full time until the end of December. There is potential for an extension however this is dependent on PLD contracts, and therefore at this time we are only offering a fixed-term position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the design, development and implementation of revenue generating social enterprise.

  • Leading and facilitating the diagnosis, scoping and needs analysis of school/Kāhui Ako requirements.

  • Developing tailored programmes to deliver to schools / Kāhui Ako.

  • Delivering projects, including management and evaluation.

  • Ensuring the Springboard Trust Experience remains trusted.

  • Supporting the development of internal delivery capability.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a consulting role.

  • Experience and capability to develop and delivery strategic leadership content.

  • Ability to engage with diverse communities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be able to work under pressure and have great time management skills.

  • Be adept at needs analysis and creating solutions.

  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Be flexible and adaptable.

  • Thorough understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and it’s application and important in an education and leadership context.

  • Education sector experience.

Relationship & Programme Manager (Northland)

The Relationship & Programme Manager is critical to Springboard Trust's work. Connecting with school leaders and volunteers in a wide range of New Zealand communities, you implement, manage and develop our programmes and services, as well as evaluate their impact on schools and communities.

Key responsibilities: Relationship management, planning, development and innovation, programme management, reporting and measurement.

People and Partnerships Coordinator (Any location)

Reporting to our Head of Partnerships, this role works across our people portfolio as well as with our incredible networks of partners and volunteers. You'll be working to create an incredible environment for our incoming volunteers, continuously evaluating and improving how our volunteer and partner processes work, and support our work both online and in person.

Key responsibilities: Onboarding, inductions and recruitment, stakeholder management and communication, policy and procedure evaluation, administrative support.
