Springboard Trust COVID-19 update: August 2020

Kia ora tatou,

A brief update from Springboard Trust as we all return to varying degrees of lockdown. While the initial period is for three days, everyone’s safety is our paramount priority. With that in mind, we are making the following changes effective immediately:

Please note: The following changes will remain in place until at least the conclusion of Alert Level Three in Auckland.

  • Our Onehunga office will be closed, with all Auckland staff working remotely.

  • We have asked all staff, participant school leaders and volunteers to use the COVID Contact Tracer App and log their movements over the last two weeks.

  • All programme and workshop delivery will either be postponed or moved online.

Some meetings outside Auckland may continue in person where it is safe to do so, but no workshops or meetings involving multiple schools or organisations will go ahead.

We have all been through this before, both as individuals and a team, and remain committed to providing the safest and strongest support possible to New Zealand’s school leaders. That said, we understand that many of our school leaders, volunteers and partners will need to be focused on their schools, families and communities at this time.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with your Relationship & Programme Manager or usual Springboard Trust contact.

Stay safe, and we hope to see you all in person again very soon.
