ASB & Springboard Trust Panel Sessions

COVID-19: Economic and Financial Realities Stories of Resilience and Innovation

Share

September 2020 saw a wonderful pair of virtual panel sessions from Springboard Trust and our strategic partner, ASB.

Across two sessions, we focused on economic and financial realities of COVID-19, as well as stories of resilience and innovation. Challenging times call for challenging ideas, and we are so grateful to everyone who joined and contributed to the conversation.

Huge thanks to our panelists – Nick Tuffley, Billie-Jean Potaka-Ayton, Dr Nina Hood and Sarah-Jane Whitehead. We also want to extend a huge thank you to ASB. As one of our Strategic Partners, they provide fantastic support to the work we do with New Zealand school leaders, creating positive impact across the country.

For those of you who want to revisit the sessions, you will find recordings of each below. We also did another session with Billie-Jean earlier in the year here, which we highly recommend!

Session one: COVID-19, Economic and Financial Realities

Featuring Nick Tuffley (Chief Economist, ASB), Dr Nina Hood (Director, The Education Hub) and Billie-Jean Potaka-Ayton (Principal, Kaiti School) on questions of financial stability and resources in the age of COVID-19: in education and beyond.

Session two: Stories of Resilience and Innovation

Featuring Nick Tuffley (Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, ASB), Dr Nina Hood (Director, The Education Hub) and Billie-Jean Potaka-Ayton (Principal, Kaiti School) on challenges and opportunities around hauora and wellbeing across education and New Zealand in general.
